MINISART PLUS SYRINGE 0.45 UM, 50/PKG
Minisart® NML Plus with glass fibre prefilter and surfactant-free cellulose acetate (SFCA) is optimized for particle-laden aqueous solutions or oils for a higher total throughput. Type 17829 with a pore size of 0.45 µm can be used for clarification and has a male luer lock outlet. Version K is individually packed and sterilized by ethylene oxide (EO).
Individually packed and sterile Minisart® NML Plus syringe filters are optimal for immediate usage whenever sterile filtration or clarification and cell removal from highly particle-laden liquids is needed. The glass fibre prefilter protects the membrane from early clogging and increases total throughput. The very low non-specific binding characteristics of the SFCA membrane makes the filters a perfect choice for biomolecule solutions. The housing is made of the acrylic resin MBS (Methacrylate butadiene styrene) which has a limited compatibility with alcohols but is free of phthalates. GF and membrane in one filter housing decrease the hold-up volume. If this is no limiting factor a GF-only version is available and can be coupled with a membrane-only syringe filter of choice.
