NYLON SYRINGE FILTER 0.45 UM, 25 MM., 50/PKG
Minisart® NY with hydrophilic polyamide (nylon) is optimized for aqueous liquids and solvents with a pH of 3 - 14. Type 17846 with a pore size of 0.45 µm can be used for sample preparation. It has a male luer slip outlet and version ACK is individually packed and sterilized by ethylene oxide (EO).
Individually packed and sterile Minisart® NY syringe filters are optimal for immediate usage whenever sterile filtration or clarification of aqueous and solvent samples prior to HPLC or GC is needed. The polyamide membrane combines fastest flow with low non-specific binding. Sartorius polyamide is exceptionally pure compared with other common hydrophilic nylon filters. Competitor nylon membranes are using raw materials which are especially interfere with LC | MS. The housing of the filter is made of PP (polypropylene) which is compatibility with harsh solvents, acids and bases.
