ZEOCIN SELECTION REAGENT, 1 GRAM
Gibco™ Zeocin™ Selection Antibiotic is a formulation of phleomycin D1, a glycopeptide antibiotic produced by Streptomyces verticillus. Zeocin™ Selection Antibiotic acts by binding to and cleaving DNA, leading to cell death.
Zeocin™ Selection Antibiotic is used for selection of of mammalian, insect, yeast, bacterial, and plant cell cultures. It is used at a working concentration ranging between 50–400 µg/mL depending on the cell type. This product is supplied at 100 mg/mL in sterile water in one 50 mL bottle.
