GeneArt เป็นเทคโนโลยีการสังเคราะห์ยีน ซึ่งจะสามารถสังเคราะห์ยีนได้ตรงตามลำดับเบสที่นักวิจัยต้องการ โดยไม่ต้องมีการเตรียมตัวอย่าง สกัด DNA หรือ RNA หรือแม้กระทั่งออกแบบไพรเมอร์ หรือทำ PCR เพียงท่านมีลำดับ DNA ที่ต้องการแล้วส่งมาให้เรา ทางบริษัทจะทำการประเมินและสังเคราะห์ DNA ให้ท่านตามต้องการ นอกจากนี้เทคโนโลยีของ GeneArt ยังสามารถร่นระยะเวลาในการทำงานวิจัย และลำดับ DNA ที่ได้รับจะถูกต้องตามต้นแบบที่ท่านได้ออกแบบไว้แน่นอน ทั้งนี้ผลิตภัณฑ์ที่ได้สามารถนำไปใช้เป็น positive control งาน PCR, Real-time PCR, Southern blot รวมถึงการ cloning และ sub-cloning เพื่อใช้ในการทำ protein expression และ Western blot ได้อีกด้วย
ที่สำคัญในตอนนี้การสังเคราะห์แบบ Traditional gene synthesis ซึ่งท่านจะได้รับผลิตภัณฑ์ในรูปแบบที่ target gene ของท่านจะถูก insert มาใน standard cloning vector คือ pMX vector สามารถเลือกเป็น
- Value Gene Synthesis ในกรณีที่ GC content อยู่ระหว่าง 20-80%, มีโครงสร้างของ DNA ที่ไม่ซับซ้อน, ความยาวของ DNA อยู่ระหว่าง 200-5,000 bp, ทำการ QC ลำดับ DNA ด้วยเทคนิค Next generation sequencing และราคาย่อมเยากว่า Prime Gene Synthesis ประมาณ 20%
- Prime Gene Synthesis เป็นการสังเคราะห์ยีนที่มีความสามารถในการสังเคราะห์ยีนได้ทั้งแบบทั่วไป และแบบที่มีความซับซ้อน, สามารถสังเคราะห์ DNA ได้ตั้งแต่ความยาว 100-12,00 bp, มีการ QC ลำดับ DNA ด้วยเทคนิคSanger sequencing และ Next generation sequencing นอกจากนี้ยังสามารถ upgrade เป็น express หรือ superspeed ได้ ซึ่งจะได้รับสินค้าเร็วขึ้น ทั้งนี้ความรวดเร็วขึ้นขึ้นอยู่กับขนาดของ product ที่ลูกค้าสั่งสังเคราะห์
