Express SYBR GreenER qPCR and RT-PCR reagent และ Express qPCR and qRt-PCR reagent เป็นชุดสำหรับทำ real time PCR และ real time RT-PCR ทั้งระบบ SYBR green base detection และ probe-base detection ซึ่งในระบบ SYBR Green base detection นั้นชุดน้ำยาชุดนี้มีการปรับปรุงประสิทธิภาพจากสี SYBR Green แบบเดิมมาเป็น Express SYBR GreenER ซึ่งมีคุณสมบัติที่ดีกว่าสี SYBR green ดังต่อไปนี้

1. • สี SYBR® GreenER™ สามารถถูก activate ได้ตั้งแต่ไซเคิลต้นๆ ทำให้มี sensitivity และ signal ที่ดีกว่าสี SYBR® Green ธรรมดา
   • ใช้ platinum Taq DNA polymerase ซึ่งเป็น Taq DNA polymerase ที่มีประสิทธิภาพและ sensitivity ในการทำงานที่สูงและสามารถเริ่มต้นทำงานได้อย่างรวดเร็วแม้ใน cycle เริ่มต้น ดังรูปที่ 1  
   • ลดการปนเปื้อนจากการเกิด carryover โดยมี UDG อยู่ในน้ายา supermix ดังรูปที่ 2
   • สามารถใช้ได้กับเครื่องที่เป็น standard cycling mode และ Fast cycling mode
   • สี SYBR® GreenER™ ที่ให้ signal ที่สว่างกว่าสี SYBR green และเพิ่ม sensitivity ทำให้สามารถตรวจหาสารตัวอย่างที่มีความเข้มข้นน้อยๆได้ 
   • ลดสารที่มีผลยับยั้งกระบวนการเกิด PCR (PCR inhibitor)  
   • สามารถใช้ในงาน High resolution melt (HRM) และ multiplex real time PCR  ได้ 
   • มีให้เลือกทั้งที่ผสม Rox dye (Rox-dye premix) หรือแยกหลอด Rox dye ต่างหาก
   • สามารถนำน้ายาไปใช้กับเครื่อง real time PCR ได้ทุกรุ่น
   • สามารถใช้ในงาน Multiplex amplification ได้ (probe format)

รูปที่ 2: Integrated heat-labile uracil-DNA-glycosylase (UDG hunting crossbow) significantly reduces carryover contamination. A diluted dU-containing amplicon for human ribosomal protein L4 (RPL4) was re-amplified with EXPRESS SYBR® GreenER™ qPCR SuperMix containing either no UDG (green), E.coli UDG (blue), or heat-labile UDG (red). Reactions were carried out on an Applied Biosystems 7500 Fast Real-Time PCR instrument with the default fast-cycling protocol without the 50°C UDG incubation. Heat-labile UDG works better than traditional E.coli UDG for fast-cycling conditionsat removing potential contaminants, as indicated by the shift of 12 cycles with the HL UDG, verses only 7 cycles with the E.coli UDG.
